Industrial Controls, Machinery Installation and Modification Services
Flores Automation offers engineering and custom manufacturing services to help manufacturers and end users save time, money and – potentially, a lot of frustration.
We have deep knowledge of and extensive experience in electrical design, programming, installation, debugging and other areas relating to industrial controls in manufacturing and assembly operations.
We also perform numerous machine modifications, programming, custom builds and many other builds and services.
We will work with you to scope out the project, commit to deliverables, and begin managing to a specific deadline.
Industrial Machinery Electrical Systems
We design safe and reliable electrical systems for industrial machinery, with installations throughout the world. Our designs adhere to global standards including, but not limited to: ANSII, NEC, UL, CSA, and CE.
- We can take your idea and create a detailed blueprint, rendering and bill of materials so you can have it built now or later.
- We also can redesign systems that are old and out of date, and bring them back to be functional like a new machine.
- We can be the expert design team you turn to, to create almost anything you can think of.
Industrial Machinery Mechanical Systems
We create the most effective mechanical systems by designing the optimum cell configuration, work-flow, assembly or any other custom industrial machinery, and combining it with our electrical design.
We have designed for both small- and large-scale integrations that have been installed throughout the world. Our designs adhere to global standards including, but not limited to: ANSII, NEC, UL, CSA, and CE.
Control Panels for Factory and Mobile Equipment
Whether a Flores Automation control panel is being installed in a factory or a piece of mobile equipment, it is one of the most efficiently and expertly designed panels across industries.
Our engineers and technicians work closely together to ensure proper function and design. Our technicians tirelessly work on precision, placement and connection of every component, from the PLC to the proper alignment of the wire marker. Our panel building shop is UL 508A certified.
In-House Mechanical Assembly
Our staff of technicians have years of experience creating finely tuned machines from a table full of component parts. They have assembled an array of machines ranging from arm assemblies to complete machine assemblies.
Utilizing the skill set of the Flores Automation team for assembly, you can save your company time and money, and be confident that your machine will be assembled with the precision that it was designed for and the care that it deserves.
Our engineers specialize in many different control system platforms. We have completed numerous projects throughout the years and have created templates that streamline processes, and that ultimately lower costs for our customers.
Typical projects for us include PLC programming and HMI programming.
Some of the coding environments that we normally work in are:
- PLC: Allen-Bradley, Automation Direct, Bosch-Rexroth, Giddings & Lewis, Panasonic, etc.
- HMI: Allen-Bradley, Automation Direct, Bosch-Rexroth, CTC, Red Lion, Sauer-Danfoss, etc.
When you have optimized your process and are still looking to further reduce per piece cost, increase output or increase product quality, robotic automation may be the best option to realize new gains.
Not only does automation provide one of the fastest returns-on-investment, it can take the place of employees who are working in or around a dangerous environment, permanently fill the void of worker shortage. You might find that automation is less costly than manual labor.
Whether it is a Cartesian, SCRARA, or Articulating robot integration, for a pick and pack, finishing, welding or any other application, Flores Automation will tirelessly work for you to help you meet your objective.
Machine Installation – Debugging and Testing
Once a custom machine installation is complete, our engineers will continue to work on the machine to debug and test the equipment. Often times, a new piece of equipment just needs to be tweaked at the programming level, or minor wiring changes need to be done.
The Flores Automation engineer will remain onsite, during normal business hours, until the equipment is running properly and producing exactly what it is supposed to, within designated parameters.
The people at Flores Automation are experts in machine modification for numerous machines and for a multitude of industries.
Farm and agriculture, transportation, construction, CPG, industrial manufacturing, and food and beverage are but a few of the industries we provide service for.
Our approach starts with defining where the problem exists and how we can help improve the process. Once that is defined, we can begin designing in the new component pieces and completing the build.
Three of the most popular modifications we perform are: micro-controller integration, adding in an HMI, and upgrading the complete control system.
